In 2022 I travelled to Moldova for Oxfam to document the stories of Ukrainian refugees displaced by the Russian invasion. The country was struggling to cope with the huge numbers of people arriving, and while there was some good aid provision, we found many people lacking basic needs. As we travelled around the Moldova we focused on the issues faced by the Roma community, who have faced significant discrimination.
